You did it! You got through and now it's Spring!  The clocks have sprung forward that precious hour so now you’ve no time to waste in planning your new staycation away this Spring.

In true Leopold style, we’ve some superb staycations to whet your appetites for staying in our vibrant and lusciously green city – check out the latest leisure accommodation packages that are bookable from the 17th May 2021 (in line with the current UK Guidelines) Hotel Deals - Sheffield Hotel - Leopold Hotel Sheffield.

Escape The Everyday At Home perfect for a minimum of two night inclusive of Continental Breakfast allowing you to explore the delights of Sheffield.  Now that we can meet up in small groups it’s a great opportunity to catch up with friends and family for a good time.  With the hotel Terrace and Bar (open from the 12th April 2021) you can sit in the sun, sip something delightful whilst catching up on all the gossip and antics that have taken place amidst this pandemic as well as those laugh out loud insane TikToks!  You’ll be amazed at how much there is to catch up with,  so if you want to stay longer you can!

Ready Steady Goooooo And #ESCAPETHEEVERYDAY for those wishing for a more brisk approach to celebrating the lockdowns lifting this package is so right for you!  Allowing you to stay for a minimum of two night without breakfast so you can whizz off a soon as you are awake but return to a great freshly baked pizza of your choice from our new pizza oven. But before you put your feet up and tuck into your gloriously gooey pizza we have a few friends we’d like to introduce to you….firstly the Alpacas.  Yep they are just so funny with their long necks and fluttery eyelashes and make great selfies 😊 so head down to meet with the friendly volunteers and their alpacas at Holly Hagg Community Farm for a walk through the woods or sit alongside them whilst they relax around the pond, you may even see them take a little paddle or two.  Book early though as its one of Sheffield most sought after activities and there’s only so much walking these stunning Alpacas can do in one day.

If you fancy a challenge or two then you simply must get booked in to Ringinglow Archery and join Damian and Mark Stenton with their axe throwing, bow bracing and target shooting range.  Set in the idyllic Sheffield countryside just a short drive from the hotel is this amazing location and family-run activity is simply the best that the region has to offer! Go individually or in small groups and have the best time challenging yourself and learning new skills that you never knew you had or could be sooooo much fun.  They even do Horseback Archery – but I’d leave that one to Damian if I were you, its certainly fast and furious and certainly not for the faint-hearted!

And then if you love to cycle then Sheffield is certainly on the map for you to head to.  Either bring your own or hire one for a great staycation with a bit of lactic acid leg burn thrown in. You may not be up to following the route from when we hosted the Tour De Yorkshire with those agonising hill climbs, but you can select from a gentle leg stretch for a couple of hours to an all-day heart racing, adrenaline-pumping ride through some of the most breath-taking scenery our Peak District has to offer. Follow the The Monsal Trail as it’s a stunning traffic-free cycle route right in the heart of the Peak District National Park. This 8.95-mile route is great for all abilities and there are hundreds of interesting things to see along the way including wildlife, geology, industrial and rail heritage. The trail is a way-marked route with coordinated interpretation panels and listening posts to help people enjoy all it has to offer.

So Spring with the Leopold can certainly mean you leave with a spring in your step too – enjoy!
