Tramlines Festival 2021

Imagine listening to your favourite band play live, in a field with 40,000 other festival-goers, drinking cold beer on a warm day and sharing memories with your best friends. It’s been a long time coming but we are delighted to welcome Tramlines Festival back to Sheffield. This fantastic music festival takes place every year in Hillsborough Park, central Sheffield and features some of the UK’s best musical talent. This year’s festival takes place from 23rd-25th July and promised to be a festival to remember.

Tramlines Festival 2021

First held in Sheffield as an unticketed event, Tramlines Festival has gone from strength to strength and is now one of our busiest weekends of the year. The festival takes place in Hillsborough Park, about a 10-minutes’ drive from Leopold Hotel, or 20-minutes by public transport. The festival is mostly outdoors with smaller gigs taking place in tents, ideal for making the most of the bright summer evenings. There is a fantastic lineup every year, including musicians, bands and solo performers, comedy acts, artists performances and fun for all the family. There are also a great selection of bars and places to eat contained within the festival grounds.

Tramlines Festival 2021 Line Up

As always, the line-up for Tramlines 2021 is fantastic with something to suit all tastes. Headline acts include The Streets, Royal Blood and the excellent Richard Ashcroft. Support acts are equally impressive with huge names like Sophie Ellis-Baxter, The Kooks and The Fratelli’s gracing the stage across the weekend. Acts are announced until the very last minute so you’re favourite band might still make the cut! The line-up includes music, comedy, art & performance aver three days across five stages with something to suit all tastes and ages. Aside from the top-class line up you are guaranteed every year, Tramlines is popular for the laid back, fun atmosphere that spreads throughout the city.

No Tickets?

This year’s festival takes place from 23rd-25th July and is unfortunately sold out for all days. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take a trip to Sheffield to enjoy the buzzing atmosphere across the city. Smaller local musical acts take this opportunity to perform their music in parks and public spaces, with solo artists and groups taking over corners and treating us to some of the finest talent Sheffield has to offer. Leopold Square is a likely spot for buskers and our terrace is a great place to soak up the atmosphere while enjoying a drink and a delicious pizza, freshly baked from our pizza oven.

There are often last-minute tickets available online, at the gates, from touts or early leavers so it’s worth your while trying your luck.
