While we are relieved to finally see the beginning of the end of the Covid 19 Pandemic and the restrictions that came with it, we realise that many aspects of our lives have changed for good. At Leopold Hotel, the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff has always been our number one priority and although restrictions have mostly been lifted, we will continue to keep our valued guests safe with additional cleaning and safety protocols. Stay safe post-pandemic
Our new and improved safety charter is here to stay. Cleanliness has always been a top priority for Leopold Hotel, but our improved cleaning schedules which ensure an extra level of sanitation will remain. We have worked hard to achieve and maintain the high standards put into place by Trip Advisor, AA, PREM Group and Visit England and earned badges to prove our dedication to the care of our guests.
We have increased all hygiene measures with more frequent and thorough cleaning of our guest rooms and public spaces. We now use an Ecolab high-grade disinfectant to ensure a safe and comfortable stay. Additional hand sanitising stations are present across the hotel and guests are encouraged to wear masks in public spaces. Guest room keys cards, pens and anything else frequently used are disinfected and issued without any physical contact. Our colleagues and suppliers are consistently briefed on hygiene measures and hand washing requirements.
Our team has been fully trained on how to approach guests that may feel unwell or those self-isolating within their bedroom. If a guest or team member becomes unwell while in the hotel, we have procedures in place to keep everyone safe and comfortable so even if the worst happens, we are prepared.
Events in Leopold Hotel Sheffield
We are delighted to welcome back full capacity events and conferences to Leopold Hotel Sheffield. While we are allowed to accommodate full meeting rooms, many of our corporate clients are requesting more spacious meeting areas. We are happy to continue to offer socially distanced private suites for meetings as requested. If a company finds their in-house meeting rooms a little too close for comfort, we are happy to offer a selection of four meeting spaces, each of which can be customised to your needs. Each suite offers natural daylight making them comfortable and functional spaces for all meeting types. All suites offer complimentary Wi-Fi as does the spacious bar and lounge area which is located on the ground floor.

As Covid 19 is primarily an airborne virus, we realised that increased cleaning of touchpoints was not enough to stop the spread of the virus. We have invested in upgrading and replacing our original air conditioning system to make it as efficient and clean as possible. Our new system not only heats and cools the space but provides cleaner air with less risk of transmission of viruses. The newer technology is also better for the environment, uses less energy and is fuelled by safer, cleaner means than older versions.
